This is almost unheard of, a free education from the major universities in this country and around the world. If you are interested in taking a course from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale, Tufts University, or from selected universities in over 20 countries then the OpenCourseWare program is for you.
These universities have made courses they teach on their campuses available for free through the distance learning programs offered by OpenCourseWare.
In fact, MIT has made over 1800 courses from over 30 of their departments available. The major requirement for university participation is to offer a minimum of 10 free courses. Both graduate and undergraduate courses are offered.
Continuing Education Advantages
What are the continuing education advantages for someone who enrolls in a course? The student receives:

Enrollment is easy; there is no enrollment. This is possible because no credit or grade is offered to those complete the course. You just simply start completing the course requirements anytime you want and at your own pace.
